About the Teacher
I started out as a child.

After that, I went to U.C. Berkeley and received an architecture degree. I designed and built projects for 20 years before deciding to teach. It was really the birth of my daughter, Taylor (who's now 16), which inspired me to do this.
This is my 13th year at El Verano, where I started my teaching career. I have been teaching 3rd grade for 5 years now, after being in 2nd grade for 8 years before that.
I love biking, hiking, waterskiing, teaching, watching Taylor do gymnastics, windsurfing, playing guitar with friends and El Verano students, and doing anything with my wife and daughter.
